In the 2020 Australian Science Olympiad, which is composed of physics, chemistry, biology, earth and environmental science contests, the students of International Center of our school won the first, second and the third world prizes in the world. Among them, two students won the global first prize, three students won the global second prize, and five students won the global third prize.

The Australian Science Olympiad is host by Australian Science Innovation, ASI (ASI), including Australian Science Olympiads-Physics (ASOP), Australian Science Olympiads-Chemistry (ASOC), Australian Science Olympiads-Biology (ASOB), and Australian Science Olympiads-Earth and Environmental Science (ASOE) four parts. They encourage students to explore and learn all kinds of cutting-edge scientific knowledge, inspire and encourage students to comprehensively use the knowledge of various disciplines to explore and solve practical problems, and enhance their scientific literacy and learning ability.

Through the competition, the students broaden their horizons of discipline, improve their level of knowledge in the field of science, and exercise their cognitive ability, logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
